We invite you to bring your play, concert, fundraiser — whatever you can imagine — to the Capri Theater stage.
We’ve renovated this space with many people in mind: audiences, theater companies, novice to experienced artists of all kinds, teachers and students and families from our own Northside community, the Twin Cities metro, outstate and beyond!
We added new auditorium seats, more space in the lobby and backstage, dressing rooms, a costume and scene shop, and a real popcorn machine, among many other fabulous new amenities.
We’ve retained the intimate feel of the space, the original stage floor on which Prince performed his first gig as a solo artist, and the gallery of treasured Prince photos by Greg Helgeson.
Technical Specifications
We’ve upgraded all the technical systems in the theater including sound, lighting and rigging. We’ve got everything you need for your first rehearsal to closing night right here.
