Capri COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Capri COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Welcome to the Capri!
Come see our beautifully renovated and expanded building. It’s a beauty! And when you join us at the Capri, be assured that the health and safety of our audiences, performers, renters, staff, and students, is our first priority.

COVID Guidelines
We’ll continue to monitor and follow the latest guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Minnesota Department of Health, as well as local requirements from the City of Minneapolis, and Minneapolis Public Schools.

Vaccination Policy

Updated April 26, 2022:

The Capri will no longer require guests to present proof of either full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. The Capri will consider rental clients’ preferences regarding this policy and will adapt to their clients’ requirements per mutual agreement.

Mask Policy

Updated April 26, 2022
Masks are now optional at all indoor events at the Capri. Non-cloth masks, such as N95, KN95, KF94 and surgical masks, are recommended for those who choose to wear a mask. The Capri will consider rental clients’ preferences regarding this policy and will adapt to their clients’ requirements per mutual agreement.

Ventilation Enhancements and Cleaning Practices
Following the CDC recommendations for Ventilation in Buildings, the Capri is equipped with a state-of-the-art bipolar ionization air flow system and MERV 14 air filters. We’ve also implemented enhanced cleaning practices throughout the building per the CDC recommendations for Cleaning and Disinfecting Your Facility.

Guest responsibility
We ask that guests stay home if they are sick or if they are exposed to COVID-19.

Protocol Changes
Any changes in COVID policies will be communicated on our website, in social media formats, and via our Constant Contact email newsletters. (To subscribe to our newsletter, go to Be In Touch on the home page of our website.)

Thanks, everyone, for your patience and understanding, and for adhering to these guidelines.
