  • This event has passed.

On the first Saturday of each month, Northside STEM hosts a free STEM Saturday for K-8th grade youth! Join us on Saturday, August 5, as we engage youth in activities about Electricity and how it impacts our daily lives.

  • Explore how electrical energy is converted into other forms of energy like motion, light, and sound. Consider how this makes our lives easier.
  • Investigate the differences and similarities between static and current electricity.
  • Understand the electron’s role in a circuit.
  • Use a multimeter to measure electrical values and learn the relevant vocabulary for measuring electricity.
