FOR
Black entrepreneurs in the self-care, beauty, and wellness industry.
WHAT
A beautiful market featuring Black entrepreneurs selling products and services specific to self-care, beauty, wellness, make-up, haircare, grooming, skincare, candles, bath essentials, herbs and teas, and other related products.
Every hour on the hour a featured entrepreneur (e.g. an esthetician, make-up artist, or hairstylist) will have the opportunity to showcase their business with a live demonstration of their product(s).
If you’re interested in doing a product talk/live demo, please indicate that in the registration form, below. Three featured entrepreneurs will be selected and notified 2 weeks prior to the event, or sooner, if possible. Also please note that the registration fee for product talk/live demonstrators is $75. Regular vendor/table fee is $50.
TARGET MARKET
- Local shoppers of all races and genders, ages 8+, with an interest in exploring beauty and wellness products, or an interest in connecting with others during events specific to Black History Month.
- Skincare enthusiasts, makeup artists, the bridal market, mature clientele seeking anti-aging products, teens and young adults exploring makeup.
WHEN
Date: Sunday, February 16
Vendor time commitment: 2-8pm
Market: 3-7pm
Introductory Remarks: 3pm, Amara Anyamele, “Honoring Our History”
Product Demos: On the hour from 4-7pm
