UNCF / Best Buy Scholars Program Workshop

The Capri Best Buy Teen Tech Center (CBBTTC) will host a workshop to support students in applying for the UNCF / Best Buy Scholars Program.
IMPORTANT: Students must register to
attend the workshop, and spots are limited.
This session will be led by the Manager of the UNCF/Best Buy Scholars Program, and participants will have the opportunity to begin the application process and receive guidance directly from the program team.
This opportunity is exclusive to students participating in Best Buy–supported programs, with preference given to Best Buy Teen Tech Center members.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to all majors
- Active high school participant at a Best Buy Teen Tech Center or other approved Best Buy Foundation program (priority given to Teen Tech Center members)
- High school senior
- U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible undocumented student meeting DACA criteria
- Plan to enroll full-time at a two-year or four-year college or university
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Must complete the FAFSA
- Demonstrated unmet financial need as verified by the selected college or university for the 2026–27 academic year
Program Components Include:
- Scholarship: Up to $10,000 per academic year, renewable for up to 3 additional years
- Year 1: Need-Based
- Renewal: Merit-Based
- College Success Coach to support academic progress and professional development
- Online Learning Community with resources for academic, personal, and career success
- Early Career Coaching
- Opportunities to attend events such as the UNCF Student Leadership Conference
