Battered Women’s Justice Project presents Preventable
We invite you to a special premiere of BWJP’s new documentary, Preventable. Produced with generous support from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, this short film brings viewers deep inside the intersection of domestic violence and firearms.
Through the voices of survivors and the insight of experts, the film illustrates how lives are lost when warning signs are missed—and how your support makes prevention possible.
Following the screening, guests will join a panel conversation with the survivors featured in the film and leaders working at the forefront of prevention.
This event is a powerful opportunity to deepen your understanding of this crisis, hear directly from the survivors, and connect with others committed to building safer communities.
6 pm | Doors Open & Reception with Panelists for VIP ticket buyers
7 pm | Preventable Screening & Post Film Panel Conversation
(Complimentary Valet Provided and Street Parking available)
