Let’s Work! A Labor of Love, a special exhibition from The People’s Museum for Prince. Now on view through June 2026, this community-sourced exhibition celebrates the life and legacy of Prince.
Curated by E.C. Balázs, Let’s Work! A Labor of Love brings together a vibrant selection of tribute artwork from acclaimed creators. Featured artists include Troy Gua, Nettrice Gaskins, Myc Dazzle, Betsy Shannon, Suzanne Wint, Timothy Harmon, and local North Minneapolis arts leader Peyton Scott Russell.
Exhibition Access & Featured Events
Gallery viewing and all related events are completely free and open to the public.
- Gallery Viewing: The exhibition is open during all scheduled Capri public events and remains continuously viewable from the street window displays. Additional viewings are available by appointment.
- Capri Arts Festival Hours: Saturday, June 6, from 12 – 4pm
- Forever in My Life Special Evening: Wednesday, June 10, at 5:30 PM. An immersive Capri event blending art, film, and live music.
Community-Wide Celebration
The Capri exhibition serves as a vital anchor for a larger, multi-site neighborhood celebration. The People’s Museum for Prince—a nomadic counter-museum—will officially open its main site on June 7, Prince’s birthday, at Roberts Gallery (2400 Plymouth Ave N).
