“Tense, bold, angry, empathetic, provocative, observant, morally engaged.” –Variety
A Marine veteran working as a school janitor tries to mend his relationship with his son after a divorce. When his son is killed by a police officer found innocent without standing trial, he takes matters into his own hands.
Programmed in partnership with the MSP Film Society, and the Minnesota Historical Society, First Thursday Films @ the Capri aims to create a space for dialogue and better understanding. In November, be sure to stay for our post-screening conversation led by D.A. Bullock, an award-winning filmmaker and social practice artist in the field of story-based community organizing. His films have been featured at national and international festivals including Toronto International Film Festival & Chicago International Film Festival.
