Exposed Brick Theatre presents: “Breathe (a ritual to undo)”

Breathe is a ritual performance that is meant to be experienced rather than just watched. With characters Humm, Shake, and Still, named after somatic healing tactics, Breathe is reckoning with the continuous process of healing. The ritual is a moment of pause, a collective breath, a call to shake things up (in our bodies) so that we can continue a fight that was started long ago and may continue long after us.
Million Artist Movement is partnering with Exposed Brick Theatre to provide Power Tree Quilting starting one hour prior to the performance. Audiences are invited to come early and create a square that will be sewn into a quilt to be shared with community at protests, celebrations and community events.
