Thrill to highlights from Prince’s 1987 European concert tour, including selections from the rock star’s album of the same title. Starring Prince, Sheila E. and Sheena Easton.

Be sure to stay for the post-screening community discussion with legendary tour manager Alan Leeds and MSP Film Programmer Craig Laurence Rice.  Leeds is a music executive best known for his work as a tour manager for James Brown, D’Angelo, Chris Rock, The Roots, and Prince during the peak of his commercial and artistic success, most notably the Purple Rain Tour. Leeds also served as President of Prince’s Paisley Park Records.

Programmed in partnership with the MSP Film Society, and the Minnesota Historical Society, First Thursday Films @ the Capri aims to create a space for dialogue and better understanding.
