What are the limits of familial obligation? Left is a family drama written by DJ Gramann II about a gay man named Junior returning to his grudging family in small town Texas. As his father declines into dementia, Junior wrestles with questions of love and responsibility to his past while fighting to preserve his chosen family twelve-hundred miles away. When you’ve lived a life unlearning dysfunction, Left is a play that reminds us what we should hold on to.
