Well Connected Twin Cities & We Sparkle presents: “Dope is Death”
Capri Rental
- This event has passed.
“Dope is Death” is a documentary film about how the Black Panthers and the Young Lords founded the first acupuncture detox program in the US. Come early for free community acupuncture and stay after the film for a discussion on healing justice work, highlighting local voices and organizations who are breaking down barriers to access holistic health supports.
Hear from representatives of the MN Healing Justice Network, The Zen Bin and NADA, along with the film director Mia Donovan, and Juan Cortez who was featured in the film.
This is a free event, and we’ll be asking attendees to donate to the MN Healing Justice Network and The Zen Bin. Info on that will be provided at the event.

Please note: Masks are required at all indoor events at the Capri. Non-cloth masks, such as N95, KN95, KF94 and surgical masks, are recommended.
